How it all began

Our Story

How did we develop our Anti-Blister System™? It all started back in 1988 with a dad trying to help his son improve his sports performance. The son was suffering from blisters created by the back and forth motion required for running, quick manoeuvres and repetitive motions. The more his son practiced, the more blisters he got from the friction and chafing of his socks. That dad was Jerry Wrightenberry, a second-generation hosiery manufacturer. When he saw that the blisters were hindering his son Joey’s performance, he realised his son didn’t have the right equipment. So, Jerry developed a sock that would prevent the moisture and friction of loose fitting socks from creating blisters.

Fabulous socks

I love these socks. They keep my feet comfortable all day in work boots. We have a gardening maintenance business and finding the right socks for working in was difficult until I stumbled across Wright Socks. My feet are keep dry and cushioned all day. I also wear the sports socks for my gym classes which are excellent. Thankyou Wright Socks. I would recommend them to anyone.

Still the best

Well we've walked 3 Caminos now. The Frances, Norta-Primativo, Via Podiensis . Thats 3000km plus, in our Wrightsocks. We have been thru a few pairs. Im still yet to get a blister. The Adventure sock has been our rock.They are comfy, dry quickly, are durable and most importantly , they protect our feet.
